The Excrawlers

The Excrawlers is honestly worth a blind buy very slick '92-'96 vibe! Simple but, very enjoyable little action/adventure RPG (the presentation steals the show) Has a very organic laserdisc/CD graphic feel..... In 2023 it may be a bit niche but, if you grew up during the height of the mom & pop video store you will adore it and appreciate the little details

Games like this are the reason I stopped buying the big budget garbage of modern gaming and stick to supporting indie DEVS . EXCRAWLERS is a beautifully crafted action RPG with interesting story, fun and challenge, really nice pixel art graphics that are easy on the eyes, a very effective and easy to understand character build system that gives you a lot of freedom to choose how you want to progress, and plenty of loot grinding, just ignore the R3 level-up bug it will likely be patched... somehow this game manages to give a near perfect balance of challenging action and chill, casual vibe... In my opinion, EXCRAWLERS is way more fun than most of today's expensive big budget titles

You'll get all of the achievements a few minutes after the tutorial but the game is so good it's worth playing after that. Buy it.

Simple controls, very fluid animations.... Then after about 1 minute i bumped R3 discovering this button infinitely levels you. Hard to take serious.

Fun and weird. R3 does level you up,more fun if you don't use it tho. Lots of little secrets.
