TOKI Juju Densetsu

I got this game on sale for $1.99 and it's money well spent! This is a great game. Beautiful graphics and animations. Boss fights are fun and at 1st seem challenging but I found that pressing the buttons super fast to shoot Toki's projectiles can eat away at a boss's energy pretty quickly. This is a fantastic remake of the arcade original and I recommend having it in your games library. Be warned though, you CAN'T save your progress. I had to just turn off my system and then resume game later.

TOKI Juju Densetsu (or whatever) is *exactly* like Toki Going Ape Spit. I mean, exactly. Whoever remade/remastered this game did it perfectly and with love for the original. All the placements and behaviors of enemies are identical. Level design is identical. Controls are identical. HUGE props to the devs to redo a classic to this degree and detail. The biggest downsides are the controls (they're identical to the old game, but that's not the best because it feels clunky at times); and, the game length. I got this on sale for $4, but I'd be upset if I paid the full price of $20 for a game that might get you 2 or 3 hours of gameplay, tops. If you loved Toki growing up, this is definitely worth your attention.

But you cant save and is very short.

This epic face lift of Toki is impressive except one minor negative the controls are way "Off" /stiff i'm sure it would play much better w/ a arcade stick. i never played the Arcade but, enjoy the Genesis home port! The menue interface is also weird.....If you can look past these small problem this is one of the best legit remasters up there with Castle of Illusion remastered & DuckTales Remastered....i'm a little surprised this was even made maybe Sega's Congo Bongo could be next 👍

Great classic arcade game. Worth it!!!
