Torchlight III

By comparison this doesn't even feel like it was made by the same people who made the first two, it just has a goofy and disjointed style to it compared to those two and it's not even better looking, the game appears to be terribly optimized on Xbox and even on Series consoles it runs poorly. Only pros is how it's not that bad when you get into it, gameplay is still decent, but everything about it just isn't anywhere near as appealing as Torchlight 2.

Drives me crazy that it takes 3-5 seconds of running over resources and gold in order for it to pick them up. Holding alt or clicking on the gold does nothing. Also, sometimes gold or a mined resource will fall over a stump or into a coffin which your character can't stand on. When this happens you just lose the item. There's no way to pick it up.

This isnt T1 or T2 levels of joy. Its a mockery of the series. Lag issues so bad you HAVE to play alone, and when you do they are still there. Yelling at the screen after you die from invisible enemies only to reload and it still is broken. They gave up years ago trying to fix it. NOT WORTH A DAM SINCE IT CAME OUT IN 2020. DO NOT BUY

Definitely a downgrade from 2, walking constantly getting stuck on invisible walls, ranged targeting randomly breaks lock on, pets disappear, standard attack doesn't always work... Stay away, devs abandoned after releasing this mess.

Loved torchlight 2, but torchlight 3 has more bugs than any game I've ever played. 1.50% chance gold will be unobtainable due to collision boxes 2. Picking up gold or fame is a pain in the a** because you have to precisely walk over them in a certain direction. 3. Don't have any auto picking feature to solve their problems. 4. monsters glitch out of the map, only frustrating when objective is to clear all monsters in end game. 5. If you have melee with knockback, you can sometimes push enemies and rewards out of the map. 6. need to click alt to pick up respectables 7. Fort didn't feel impactful at all 8. I had false mission objectives on my map once 9. List could continue but im done with the game.
