Volgarr the Viking

If you like games like rastan then you will love this gem. But be warned its not an easy game . Just play the 1st level and you will understand why its called Vulgar🤣🤣😂. Any lil mistakes will have you doing the section over and over. You will curse , you will suck your teeth, you will sweat, you will say words even you wont understand, you will throw your controller Across the room, yup that what this game does. Use your head and watch enemy patterns. Just know that inthe 1st 10 secs you will become vulgar 🤣🤣🤣 i did . Its a great game regardless

This is by far one of my favorite games ever. The game mechanics and level design are absolutely amazing. This is a must buy for anyone that loves old school platformers. Be warned tho, this game is rather difficult.

GREAT GAME JUST GOTTA LEARN THE PATTERNS!!!😁😁😁

If you like old school sidescrollers like Contra or Castlevania you'll love this game. It's just as much about learning the levels as it is getting fast with the controls. Anyone arguing they are "clunky" simply didn't learn them or get past level 1. The controls are extremely responsive, allowing for some pretty awesome maneuvers once you've got em down, so don't let that dissuade you, it's just not true. What is true however is the punishing difficulty. Good replay value as well with secret levels and fun achievements. The rating is unjust as I imagine it's a result of it being free on Gold and anyone PO'd by the difficulty giving it 1 star. Like Dark Souls games, it's frustrating at first but really fun once you've got it down. Well worth the $$ Best arcade game I've played in ages!

Great 2d scroller! If you loved Ghosts n Goblins back in the day. You will love this. Just as difficult and just as addictive.
