Maybe doesn't reach the heights of Infernax, but it's a fun Metroidvania.

It's a very authentic retro game. Just a note, don't expect the usual Metroidvania. I'd call it a nonlinear platformer instead. There's only 3 abilities in the ENTIRE game and two upgrades. If you're here for a challenging platformer, this will work for you. If you want to constantly backtrack and upgrade, I'd suggest passing on this.

This is another retro Metroidvania styled game and a very good one. Graphics are great 8-bit with fantastic chiptune music. Controls are tight. There are several areas on the map with their own feel. The only negative of the game is there is no way to mark your map so I found myself spending a lot of time doing backtracking for collectibles that could have been hemmed down on if I could mark it. The game is pretty easy. Boss fights are somewhat tough and platforming becomes a bit difficult near the end. The game is short. It took me 9.5 hours to do a 100% completion blind run. I spent 1.5 hours cleaning up some achievements and another 1.5 hours to get the "beat the game in under 2 hours" achievement(if you want to do this look up the speed run guide by "Suspense" on youtube.) $10 is not what I would pay for this but the game itself is very well done and I hope this team comes back with something bigger. If you are a Metroidvania person this one should be on your "to do" list.

Great 8 bit throwback! Imagine polished 8 bit graphics with combined elements of Castlevania, Zelda, and just a touch of Metroid with a Megaman soundtrack. Great adventure with some puzzle solving. No bug or glitches so far. Quality play control with a Zelda like story.

Loaded with what be "Easter Eggs", if they weren't part of the design. The game doesn't tell you ANYTHING. First: The checkpoints: Generous & Plentiful ... But: The Catch: It is NOT Possible to beat this game in under 5 Hours if you SAVE AT EVERY CpoinT: YES: Quitting to the Main Menu is literally NECESSARY to succeed here. Sounds dumb? - Thing is: In order to get fast times, you must RISK it by skipping a LOT of Cpoints. The game always SAVES your progress when u quit 2 Main. So, here's a simple example: Say u must travel far to the right, & moreover, defeat possibly 2 Bosses, which awards u items: (-NOTE: Maybe 1 Boss ... Cuz u might want to skip 1 ...?-): Thing is, you know u must go up ... not far from the START, but u need item from far Right. SAVE HERE: Yes, near START, where u c path up. Now SKIP EVERY ChP as u go far Right: U must play thru it all w/o Safety. Huh?-Goal: Defeat what's necessary. Get item. QUIT 2 Main. RelD&BANG: At ST SAVE W ITEM=No LEFT bckTravel=FAST! -DTX: 🥳
