Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace

Decent game. I enjoyed my playthrough. Asmodee or FFG need to keep at bringing this source material to video game form. I feel like eventually they will do something great! AH LCG Video Game?!😍

This isn't what you would call ambitious. You guide your characters on a tour of Lovecraft locations, find and kill numerous beasties and cultists and try not to die or lose too much sanity. BUT...combat is fairly crunchy and fun, the game leans into its strengths of combat and exploration and the core story has a poignance in what's really going on. I'd love to see an improved sequel.

Great game. Very period fitting.

Simplistic gameplay, good artwork, fine story. Too much reading. Great voices so why not one more to read all that extra stuff. Rules seem off from combat to exploration. Far too many penalties that end up pushing you into a very narrow style of play. A style unnatural to mythos investigation.

This game is classic Cthulu for any mythos fan!! Really cool art style, surprisingly GREAT voice acting, smooth turn based combat, large character pool, and compelling storytelling. I am stuck in the bayou right now, though, due to a frustrating glitch when playing out the boss battle here. Keeps locking up preventing my progress. A fix for this and a little, tiny tweak on the camera and this would be a flawless title!
