Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus

Game keeps crashing at the main boss for the mountains (trying to avoid spoilers) besides that 10/10

Even if you beat the white palace in Hollow Knight, you will be able to get through this, but some areas in this game will have you wondering why they made it so difficult. It relies HEAVILY on aerial combat. You will lose brain cells here. It's fun at times, but the difficulty for me personally is rough. I would have given it 4/5 stars but it's still crashing on the Tengu boss 2 weeks after release. If you're new to platformers or more of a casual platformer, start with Ori. If you really liked the challenge Hollow Knight gave you, this is a step up in difficulty in my opinion.

it crashes. A LOT. Only when I use the bat. Hopefully they get all the bugs worked out because this game has a lot of potential. Definitely akin to Hollow Knight. Looking forward to seeing what direction this game takes. May play something else, in the meantime, while waiting for them to update and fix the issues because it could be pretty great.

This is my first review and Im glad it's about this game. It's an underrated game and is deserving of so much praise. The developers of Squidshock games really put in so much into this Metroidvania. Some parts are difficult however, it's rewarding and has so many references from Ghibil to japanese Yokai and even the obscurest of Japanese stories. Support indie developers and please buy this work of art 10/10 Also the soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks i've ever listened to

Beautiful game, but at the final boss it will crash 100% of the time, rendering the game unplayable. In his final phase every time, too. Disappointed.
