Hunted by mercenaries of an enemy with untold power, the fighter Pseudo and the creature under his protection begin a perilous quest to the edges of strange lands.
Super impressed. Great take on the souls and beat em up genres....its a spaghetti western kung fu souls like that reminds me of playing an oddworld game for the 1st time.....a gross yet beautiful world thats perfect for peaking your interest to explore. Buy it. Better then most 60$+ games.
To the devs....thank you. I see the love you guys built this with.

This is so unique. You won't regret it. It's magnetic
Its art is unlike anything youve seen. Its like rayman 3 meets 'Where the Wild Things Are'. The combat is very tight, responsive, and visceral, however, there are unique spins that fundamentally changes combat sometimes, and how it happens is a literal craps shoot.
This game is an amalgam of different ideas, mainly taking from elements in jak & daxter, ds1, and a card game, done in a way that insinuates clear care, consideration, and a clear sense of direction(a consistent thing in this game).
Highly reccomend to those seeking a new, well conceived experience

Its not as bad as youtube says
Look, i am 36. My back hurts as i type this, i am trying to not poop my pants also.
I am enjoying this game. It isnt a soulsborne at all. It reminds me more about the early 2000 era of gaming where exploration was essential. Shadowman has been mentioned and i feel like thats a good fit. Its got killer graphics and decent combat.

Surreal experience
You're dropped into the world without a lot of explaination, sort of like Dark Souls. You explore and interact to figure things out. The combat is challenging. I've had to pick my shots and be patient. You end up hitting nothing but air without proper timing then get clobbered. There's a night/day system and exploring the world in both is required to progress. It seems as though you're expected to farm xp to level up stats. I hit a wall that few skill points solved. The story has been confusing and yet interesting. There's a lot of loot and I have no idea how potion crafting works lol. You just mix stuff together and hope for the best so far. I'm still in the early game and will update the review as the world opens up. Having fun so far though and love the challenging combat.
