Comic Book Legends

As the title says, you basically play an older, furry version of Batman in the 80's or so (so no fancy hi-tech gadgets) just using your detective skills to bring down and/or commit crime in a fantastic and engaging Telltale-esque choose-your-own-adventure storyline with multiple endings. Personally I give it a 9/10. I literally spent an entire day playing it from start to finish because I was too engaged to put it down. I love the characters, the atmosphere, the many choices, etc. I only have two critiques: 1. A couple moments are illogical. The very last choice of the game, for example, is very unclear. It gives you a choice between two seemingly small, meaningless dialogue options that end up having very big and dramatic consequences. There is also an instance where you can opt to save a life, then the game gives you an illogical QTE which, if failed, changes your choice to no. 2. Warehouse segment is poorly explained and really long/boring. Find the forklift. You're welcome.

The game is a little buggy, but is certainly playable. Strong Telltale vibes and longer than I expected. Get it on sale if you're a fan of the genre.

When I first purchased this game for Xbox One, I was enjoying myself at first. Then came the game freezes, then the corrupted saves. Eventually I wasn't even able to play past a loading screen. With the updated game for Series X/S they expect me to pay for the same game that I already own that I never got to finish because they refused to fix it in the first place!

Like the original, this game is designed to be simple. That's a huge part of its charm. Simple, chess-like strategy with pretty much the same map and battlefield battles as the original. Very fun game. So much nostalgia that takes me back to the early 90s.....For the people confused about half of the present day U.S. map missing, pick up a history book. This is the Civil War...and basic, elementary school history knowledge. This WAS the U.S. map from 1861-1864. The West was basically just territories. There is a reason there is a Mexican and an indian at the west side of the map. Haha, wow.

I waited to play, experienced 0 bugs or lag, it is a solid title i have no experience with in its lore. I want a sequel honestly and feel some people gave this gem a raw deal that being i would buy this all over again even full price in a heartbeat.
