The Bluecoats: North & South

Like the original, this game is designed to be simple. That's a huge part of its charm. Simple, chess-like strategy with pretty much the same map and battlefield battles as the original. Very fun game. So much nostalgia that takes me back to the early 90s.....For the people confused about half of the present day U.S. map missing, pick up a history book. This is the Civil War...and basic, elementary school history knowledge. This WAS the U.S. map from 1861-1864. The West was basically just territories. There is a reason there is a Mexican and an indian at the west side of the map. Haha, wow.

Haters are Northern spies 🤷‍♂️

I really don't like this remaster. Yes, the graphics are gorgeous and yes, I'm a history nut so I should have liked this game. There's just one big elephant in the room when it comes to this game, however, and I think most people will be aware of what that is. The tutorial is literally unbeatable. 99% of the time the RNG will just not be on your side, meaning that you'll have to replay it over and over again. Sorry, but this is one game where I have to say buyer's remorse. 4/10

Might be a little over-priced, but the mix of FPS, RTS, and TBS makes this game great. It can be a bit boring after awhile but it's very fun with friends.

A nostalgia cash grab full of glitches & shallow gameplay, its a 2 dollar mobile game AT BEST.
