Darksiders Genesis

You recently gave Darksiders 2 a next gen boost to fps. Please give the same treatment to this game. All darksider games should be 60 fps on Series X! One of my favorite franchises

Why this was made into a top down game is beyond me. I liked Death as a character, but Strife had the potential to really top the list as a main character with his snark and gun blazing. Instead of a strong character hack and slash though, we get some weird Darksiders/ Diablo hybrid that doesnt do the game or characters any justice. With DS3 seeming half baked as well, it truly feels like the studios who made these either didn't pull adequate resources or spread them too thin....or perhaps didn't feel inspired enough to make a worthy sequel that the franchise deserved after DS2s' solid entry. The camera bending puzzles and wonky aim system for some of them just feel frustrating and the multiplayer is disjointed and confusing in split screen. The final nail is the total lack of a drop in/ drop out mechanic which pretty much doomed it, making the entire reason and premise of the game dumb by fudging up the most basic concept of the game and rendering it as simply not worth the effort.

I was disappointed at first, but since then, it has grown on me. I love the Darksiders series. I hope they release another game in the near future.

Its not peerrfect but fun, especially coop

The game itself is awesome, but in co op it gliches so much i had to stop playing , so i wasted my money. It freezes and you get stuck in walls and all kinds then you have to start a hour long mission over again if that happens because the summoning stone wont pull you out of it , i dont know about solo play but omg is it frustrating co op . Shame the game is pretty fun , i dont think this will get fixed being five years old now
