Deliver Us Mars is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure taking you on a suspense-fuelled, high-stakes mission to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward.
I really enjoyed this game. I played Deliver Us the Moon a year or two ago. The puzzles aren't too hard, easy to figure out with trial and error. I wish there were more of them. The story was interesting, it gets more suspenseful towards the end. I tried so hard on my play through to find all the comics, and other hidden things you have to find for achievements, but I'ma have to look up a guide to go back in get them. I think this game was definitely worth $30, took me probably 12 hrs or so to beat

I don't regret buying this, but...
...it's not as good as the first one. This title feels nerfed, and that combined with the teenaged (?) protagonist leads me to believe that the devs were aiming for a much younger audience. The puzzles are both easy and somewhat tedious. The story is by far the star here, and even that has issues.
The devs had opportunity to present a strong, serious female lead, and opted instead for a precocious, know-it-all teenager who thinks it's cute to put the Earth's future at risk by disobeying orders. Honestly, every time Kathy had interactions with people, I was annoyed; I liked her WAY better when she was alone. Why couldn't Sarah or Claire be the protagonist? That Command would send an insubordinate brat to help decide the fate of the Earth strained my suspension of disbelief... in a game that includes cold fusion!
Technically the game is nice, with crisp controls and pretty visuals, but it's too easy and the protagonist is inappropriate for this story and setting. Think ME Andromeda.

Ready for another
I love how the whole series you feel like a space engineer, extremely interactive. Fantastic story with a rollercoaster of emotions.Only thing is the climbing and STREME link puzzles were a bit tedious.

The Magic was lost
Annoying main character, immersion breaking cut scenes every few minutes. The same puzzle over and over. Its clear they had no idea what made the first one fantastic. Im skipping every cut scene at this point. Struggling to care. On the upside, continues story about the arks. Well at least for some of the game. No bugs, so theres that. Bottom line? Im gonna finish cause i paid for it, but thats the only reason.

Eh
The first game, Deliver Us The Moon, was way better. The story is disjointed and there isn't much challenge in gameplay. Main character is annoying.
