Dread Delusion

Ok so I love everything about this game. Been years since a game grabbed my face and said"LOOK AT ME B****". Only complaint I have is the end of the Duchess quest (give me a hand) broke. Will give 5 stars when fix because that's a main quest and I'm like playing nonstop for day.

It's a pretty simple RPG with fantastic worldbuilding and writing. The game gives off vibes that remind me of a mix between Elder Scrolls:Morrowind, Warhammer 40k, and Hell is Us. I'd say it's for the type of gamer who loves exploring, well written quests, and discovering the lore of the in-game universe. Also, no handholding in quests (very similar to Hell is Us in this way).

This game truly is a masterpiece and I love the retro vibes of it blened with perfect RPG elements and the drop dead gorgeous visuals🧡 This gem easily goes down as of my favorite RPGs of all time and it's definitely worth the $20. I would LOVE a DLC. Easily a 5/5 and other developers should take notes. I could seriously go on and on about the beautiful details. Keep in mind though, there is an infamous game breaking bug where your player is completely frozen but rest assured there is a simple solution for it if restarting your Xbox and re-downloading doesn't work. ***EDIT*** I FOUND A FIX!!!🎉 I hope this works for you guys🤞 So all I did was STEP 1) hop in the game as usual. STEP 2) Once you're fully loaded in (while your player is frozen lol) you simply switch to a 2nd Xbox account without signing out your main account by using "add or switch" option. STEP 3) Move your player around and then sign out the 2nd account and if done correctly you should no longer be frozen👍

The devs know what they are doing. This scratched an itch I didn't know I had. A huge map with tons of lore and secrets to find, inspired by Morrowind for sure (the hats on NPCs are great) Some tips for new players. Learn to parry. Not only is it extremely satisfying but it makes combat much easier. Play on hard mode if you can, it isn't that bad and feels more like the intended difficulty. If you sleep until night you can break into buildings and access rooms that are usually blocked off during the day. Look for shortcuts, think souls games, some even let you skip combat completely. Take your time, look around, and explore everywhere, it's worth it. 10/10 buy this game.

I bought this on steam when it was new, and I enjoyed it so much that I bought it again when it released on Series X. It loads fine, I make a character, then I am unable to move. I've tried multiple controllers, defaulting the settings, restarting, and nothing works. It's fun on PC and I want the dev to succeed, but it's literally unplayable at present.
