The cons: the voice acting is really bad, but I don't think it's the actors' fault, the writing is wretched. In this serious fantasy shooter, they have the main character saying stuff like "Now that's some Triarch s**t right there!" Yikes. Also, I don't know what it is, but I don't feel very immersed. It feels like everything is just set dressing, people included. The world just seems shallow somehow.
The pros: the combat is great fun: fast, varied, and unique, even though you're fighting in obvious arenas, and you'll know EXACTLY when you're going to get jumped. Also, this game benefits greatly from a wealth of secrets and puzzles. Cap all that off with a tantalizing loot system and you've got a winner.
I'll finish this one, and I don't always.
Update: I didn't.

Fine
It's an alright game. Honestly nothing special, but the combat is good. They really want the characters to be funny and sarcastic but they just get annoying and you want them to shut up.

Fun game so far! Nice to see something original.
I’m about five hours in and no crashes for me (unlike other reviews). Battle is super fun and chaotic. I feel like Dr. Strange when I put my shield, lasso someone, and red magic shotgun them in the face. You will either love it or hate the acting and writing. I’m into it because it doesn’t take itself so seriously. Think Dungeons & Dragons movie. Absolutely needs more display options as noted in other reviews. I have the opposite problem where I want to bring brightness down to add more contrast in some areas. Doesn’t feel like the best HDR calibration for my TV vs. other games, so give us the sliders. Regardless, good fun while I wait for Starfield :)
