Initial2: New Stage

Simple fun, Shenmue comedic vibes from translate, HD Remaster visuals, decent controls, good times hack slash with sass.

Your biggest challenge is whoever is shooting a rocket launcher at U

The game is not a disappointment, but because I beat the main campaign in only 6hrs it felt like something more could've stretched the story even longer. Here's what is good - Main campaign/story, high res graphics, unique array of different characters, 4 different weapon stlyes, 7 skill/abilities (might be more), 6 Boss fights, English audio, music is enjoyable, equipment items to enhance yourself, Boss rush mode/Bloody Towers/2 other extras (only unlocked after beating the story), control is very smooth and responsive. Now for what's bad - Camera can be a issue at times, short story, locked content, only 1 playable character. Streamed the whole game at Twitch.com/DarkOverlordD 👈🏽👈🏽😎

Not a bad game from a small team of Devs. The graphics are crisp and I've only seen one blurry cutscene. Levels are straightforward and the game is very easy to get into. You start with one weapon and unlock the other three as you progress through the story. Characters have no levels nor do they gain experience, this is strictly a hack and slash with additional skills you'll pick up as you play the story. I like that you can switch between each weapon anytime during play. There are minor frame rate drops sometimes but it did not take away from being able to enjoy the game. Voice acting is not bad and the music sets the mood for each stage as well as cutscenes. This small team of Devs did a great job with the resources they had and I'm hoping for DLC and a Initial 3. Thank you for the hard work. I truly enjoy Initial 2.

performance is very bad, even on series x, the viusals look nothing like the screenshots on the store (where are the shadows????), and the combat is all style, no substance. i was surprised to see they had english voice acting though 👍 still, i'm glad this game is on xbox. the more Japanese games on xbox, the better 🍼😊
