Jet Kave Adventure

JKA feels great. Its got tight controls and fluid, snappy action. There's a lot of enemy types so you're not just mindlessly doing the same thing constantly, and all the traversal/platforming mechanics are really fun! The jet pack feels really close to the one in Sparkster/Rocket Knight Adventure. The only truly bad thing here are the rare hanglider sections. But even though everything is generally really good, the overall experience is a little flat somehow. All the bosses are the same "single screen Mega Man arena style" for example; no giant Dinosaur bosses like in Joe & Mac or Bonk. Stuff like that feels like a missed opportunity to take JKA to the next level. Still, this is an easy recommendation, just don't expect an all-time classic.

Great game, enjoyable as he11 with killer mechanics & great gfx/sound. I almost skipped out after seeing the reviews of 'couldn't finish downloading' but I'm glad I scooped it up, definitely a gem. Easy 5🦴/5🦴

Install on internal and try pausing and resuming, worked 4 me, xonex.

Own it on the Switch to. Fun game, that's what matters. Needs option menu for audio.
