Katana Kata

Hopefully you will raise enough money for a true way of samurai game, it will be successful but needs more fun tasks for faction mission. Dark souls kids will play it tyats money in the bank

"Souls" comparison is the worst possible. It's fun for a bit, but becomes fairly repetitive. It does have some jankyness. Situational awareness is strongely encouraged and crowd control with environment makes fights easily manageable. Just because you start over doesn't make it "souls-like". By that logic all of the early arcade games are the GOATs of "souls-like". Starting over and learning patterns is nothing new. Thankfully no real patterns in this title.

I snagged this on sale, and it's definitely worth checking out if ur lookin for an easy pick up and play sword battle game. It's got some rogue-like elements and a simplified skill tree, you can grab different swords off your fallen enemies, pick up health potions and weapon repair stones along the way. The game can seem pretty hard if ur timing for dodging and blocking isn't great, but it only takes a few runs to get a feel for how it works. Overall this is a really fun indie title.

Retro style hack and slash with technique. Most of your love goes out to this way of life culture, Bushido.

Its pretty liner, but still offers a fun challenge
