Lamentum

I've only JUST downloaded this with GWG and, honestly, I am enthralled. Definitely has Silent Hill vibes but it's more than that, harkening to much older, and no less amazing, games for NES like SHADOWGATE and UNINVITED. The art is charming and the MUSIC....! Hauntingly beautiful. The story is captivating and enthralling. The nostalgia factor is there, it feels like a love letter to Victorian and Classical horror. I CANNOT emphasize HOW MUCH I adore this game and want MORE like it. From one deep lover of all things "It was a dark and stormy night...", I CANNOT genuinely recommend this game enough.

I love how atmospheric and darkly enchanting this game is. It's pretty much a survival horror puzzle game exactly like Resident Evil 1 but with Lovecraftian horror and a 16th century setting. There's also strong inspiration from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

This was an amazing game, reminded me of silent hill mixed with resident evil if it was made during the snes era of gaming.

I am continually saddened by the inane comments by generation useless, and their potty-mouth commentaries on well-crafted works as these. If you have a working brain, an imagination, an appreciation for art, story, and atmosphere, then you will enjoy this adventure. My thanks to the developers for wading through all the trash talk to discern the minor bugs like music volume, etc, and fixed them. Runs and plays perfectly on Series X. Thanks MS for a decent GWG offering this month 👍
