Masters of Anima

Surprisingly fun game! Just short enough that it doesnt become repetitve, but long enough to be worth the $10 or less. Not too challenging on normal difficulty, unless you try to score better than a B rating on each fight. Thankfully, the game does you the favor of letting you know of any collectibles you miss each level. Having to avoid enemy attacks while simultaneously trying to maneuver your golems to do the same while still attacking makes this game unique and interesting challenge! Spoiler/Pro Tip: For the 2nd half of the game, I recommend using primarily sentinels (archers), keepers (mages), and summoners as letting your protector and commander class guardians get destroyed hurts your score and XP. The small guardians that your summoners produce will keep the enemy at a distance for your archers and mages, but THEIR deaths don't count against your scores.

made me nostalgic about pikmin, but this game is a bit more puzzle-based and you can pick your troops based on tactical preference and general comfort/style rather than being compelled to use only what is provided/available.

I bought this for $2 on sale. After a few hours I realized what a steal that was. A great strategic and adventurous game. Having a blast(:

Great gameplay, Great Voiced over story, Well written...plays like Pikmin/Overlord. Fast load times which is extremely rare now a days. Also pretty challenging, tons of hidden tomes, just over all I wonderfully thought out game and a genre that is rare to find.

Not a bad game. Fun if a bit repetitve and nice to look at.The voice acting is actually pretty good and the writing is better than average. I bought this game on accident while browsing the coming soon games half asleep, and now that I've played it I'm glad I did.
