If you did not play this at Launch...

...I'm talking about the original version, not the 'Definitive' with its myriad QoL & Technical improvements thanks to the Xbox One X (& the Dev's support, of course), you have no idea how much better this one is! The load times were excruciating, the resolution & overall stability were terrible, the textures were always loading in late or not at all, the Map / UI were a mess... It was legit as effed up as REDFALL when it 1st dropped. I had the disc version & played it a lot, in addition to watching DF's coverage (and stupid IGN's review), so trust me I know lol. They really pulled a Cyberpunk with this one – for lack of a more accurate comparison – and now people can experience this excellent game how it should be. I just wish Xbox would do the same thing for other Exclusives & big multiplatfom games of this era. FFXV got this same treatment & its great, why not more X1 games? BF4, CoD Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, THIEF, Crackdown 3 & countless more deserve some help too! The X1 Classics!🎮

    Like the old action-adventure style

No in game purchases. no season passes. just a solid game thats fun to play. plenty of exploring and side-missions w/o overwhelming and corebots are fun to learn. complexity w/o overdoing it. love it. thank you to everyone involved.

    Great platformer

Reminds me of the 3D platformer collectathons that I grew up with. The dungeons have some of the best platforming challenges I've played both this and last gen.

This game hit me right in my c❤re 👊

Full exploration, allows for different approaches 👍 Tons of things to collect, feels like you're constantly being rewarded 👍 Awesome robo-pals that you can upgrade & customize 👍 Fast travel, which is always a must 👍 The combat can feel exciting 👍 BUT it would've been nice to have a feature where we could've pulled out any one of our robo-pets, at any time, instead of just two at a time 👎 Easy game to pickup & play 👍 THOUGH alot of sand & empty spaces, make it feel dull & lifeless at times 👎 (which i'm not saying that there isn't alot of color & action going on in certain areas of the game, because there is, so ... 👎/👍 I guess). Overall, I adore the characters & the story has me intrigued 👍 It honestly feels like an Xbox Original title & for me, those were better days, so 👍 The game's amazing & it's cheap/affordable, definitely a good time 👍 Only other complaint I have, is the loading time 👎 ... but we'll let it slide 😉👍 OH & guess what...NØ MICRØ TRANSACTIØNS! 🏆👏😭🌹

Like Legend of Zelda, with robots and platforming

I expected this to be ok, maybe a bit too grindy, but it was actually very solid. Great even. Controls respond well and the camera rarely was an issue. Surprisingly colorful for taking place on a desert planet. The explore-and-collect aspect is the meat of the game like Banjo Kazooie. The combat is fast paced and simple while rewarding but not requiring high skill. Besides long load times, great all around. Like REALLY long loads, enough to lose a full star... but still great enough to earn the other 4. 👍
