Over 70 hours.... 3 playthoughs wish it was longer

Oh, boy. I don't know what all might have been fixed along the way, but things sure seem to work really well for an action RPG that juggles so many mechanics. Might take some getting used to, be tough for some to come to terms with...but if you get it, wow. Powers, indeed. The way cutscenes are handled, somewhat like a comic, may not suit the tastes of some players. The music may be a bit hit or miss, at least sometimes, too... As for me, I LOVE the BGM in the art museum. So fittingly 'classy but screwed up'...! The story takes some time to make sense of, a lot of gaps that gradually get filled in, but the biggest flaw to me was in the sense of consistency, what should have been seamlessly flowing emotional/psychological impact. Something dark will happen, the weight of it will be felt for a moment, and then whoever should remember and HURT over it FOR A LONG WHILE gets so easily distracted. It definitely isn't on par with some other games out there, in that respect. Still, SLICK.

This game was beautiful. The story was fantastic, gameplay was fun and addicting with intense moments and plenty of fun boss fights and encounters. I personally enjoyed the throwing star moveset with Kasane, but the sword moveset with (forgot bros name) is also fun. Visually, a beautiful world. Every area has enjoyable moments and some well designed enemies. The story was incredible, enjoyable, and entertaining. I loved every last thing about this game and I wish I could replay it from scratch again, and re-experience the whole thing again. Discovering every new small fact with your main cast of characters and all their little quirks is great. Every character gets some level of Personality and depth. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I love these jrpg game happy to see nice titles coming to xbox! Enjoy the story from the view point off either main character...adds to replay value. Ejoyable combat and story, try it out!

Like the title says, the story starts rather slow, tbh you really don't know the reason to do anything until 10 hours in. But that's where it takes off! Each character can grow on you if you let it, as in taking the time to do bond episodes. Fighting feels absolutely amazing, enough to where the small scale of enemy types isn't too drawn out. You will fight the same 10 enemy types every time, sure there's technically different versions of that enemy, but they'll still die the same. Side quest really aren't worth the minute reward unless your looking to get some special gear that'll take you 6 hours to farm, you get enough money from the countless hordes off enemies anyway. Took 28 hours to beat, skipping bond episodes will probably net you around 18 hours, unless you do both Yuito & Kasane's stories, it'll be 70h. Well worth the price
