Embark on this definitive version of the critically acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei V, massively expanded with a brand-new storyline featuring new locations, demons, and choices to make that will dictate the fate of all existence.
I was playing on hard mode killed 3 bosses and as i was just running around i rand in to a demon it hit me one time I just died and I had forgot to save so the game took me alway back to school to keep things short make sure you save there is no auto save. 9/10 game would play again

Atlus is GOATED!!!
I love Atlus' games, and this is no exception. The story so far is intriguing. I don't even want to stop playing. The design and art is amazing, so is the music. I really can't wait for more.

There's No Question. Get it.
I played this on Switch. It was amazing, but held back by hardware that just barely made it playable. The story fell short, but I was there for the crunchy, grindy, build up a demon to fuse them into a better demon gameplay. Now the game is back with a Vengeance and I get to make a ******* pun out of it before telling you to just get it. You like cool collectible monsters with fun personalities and quirks? Get it. You like moralistic and/or philosophical themes in your RPGs? Get it, especially if you like em with ham hocks for hands. But most of all, do you want to see SMT at a smooth framerate and a lovely resolution with just enough content to make the price tag worthwhile? Get it already!

Played OG on switch. Big upgrade.
A darker atmosphere and less exposition than Persona. As far as JRPG go, this one gets down to business. A few hours in and you're already rolling. It's a more demanding focused game than it's cousin as well. Basically, if you watch the video and find it interesting, it's a great game. If what you see doesn't motivate you, move along.
Tonally, this my anti-thesis to Like a Dragon and one of the more challenging RPG's you can grab. I'd say the new quaity of life features take away from that difficulty a little, but are more welcome than a nuisance. You can now save anywhere so the threat if lost progress does not loom and I kinda of miss it. So I would play this on hard for the best challenge if thats what you desire.
Bummed I am the first review. I hope series X keeps getting the SMT games. I'd grab a port of the remake of 3 day one. Thanks Sega. Not all fans are on PS and I hate my switch.
