The event notifications will come up full screen, no matter what you're doing. This will not only ruin whatever you're in the middle of, but if you happen to be pressing B because of what you're in the middle of doing, you'll say NO to whatever morale boost, new survivor or opportunity is being offered before you even understand why you're screen changed. Surviving Mars has the same problem. Mouse and Keyboard players can just click on whatever, but controllers are essentially pressing ESC constantly to back out of menus, and you need to think about that when you port an interface. Important notifications (new survivors, oppurtunities, etc.) need to have a hold input for a second or two. On the fip side of that, if 7 items aren't being powered, I don't need to be reminded every second, especially when I have no course of action at the time to fix it

The game play is awesome I absolutely love this game nothing is done poorly my only issue is that it crashes about every hour of game play making it tremendously difficult to stay engaged in the game for long

Fun map radomization and early game . Learning what everything is/does proved addictive. However, once you start pondering megaprojects and delving into the endgame, youre bound to ragequit in frustration. Main issues include surivors being slower than dirt, and the small amount of items they carry. The ineptitude of survivors hardcaps the size you can make your base- it simply takes too long for survivors to walk to their destination and perform a task before theyre giving up and looking for a meal. You reach a point where every survivors time is 100% preoccupied with base upkeep that there is no time to do anything else. During endgame youll need permanent people crafting, soldering , cooking, and planting/harvesting. Thats 5 survivors literraly busy 24hrs a day. So maybe you got lucky and have 6 survivors- well congrats, u have 1 person in charge of construction, handeling, transporting, mining, salvaging..... 4/5 cuz i had a fun 100hrs playing , but all rerolls ended with rage

Love everything about this. Like Sims meets survival. But later game wont save because of an error and ill redo an hour or two of work quite often. Then while redoing the work itll crash more often than im comfortable with. Plz patch this error code preventing saves and ill upgrade my review. Fun content otherwise

Typical sim, cool features, lots of micro-managment. Crashes regularly during autosaves. 5 stars if i could play more than an hour without it freezing or shutting off completely.
