Survival: Fountain of Youth - Captain's Edition

Starting off game is definitely fun and interesting, with a compelling story. Easy to learn mechanics, and like others said is a combination of stranded deep and green hell. Game has a lot of potential to be one of the best survival games around. However the biggest problem currently is the consistent freezing and crashing. UPDATE- Game is a lot more playable and able to explore and do the story now after update from devs. However it does still crash often especially moving around middle of islands but if you save often it isnt too big of a problem. Buy at own risk but has been worked on and is very fun minus the crashing. UPDATE 3- Game is now playable and enjoyable with plenty to do and places to explore. Big kudos to the devs for working to fix the crashing

Crashes/Freezes often

Fun game when your not restarting from a freeze. Will update my review when its patched and stability is fixed... So the game has been patched however there seems to be a problem with hard saves and the saves in general. Workaround - Delete all saves including cloud saves, Uninstall, reinstall. From here only use autosaves and the quicksave option. I was crashing every 45 seconds in game and after much testing this is what i found to work. I have now been playing 40+ hours with only 2 minor blips/freezes. I will update to 5 star once this is fixed and please know the dev's are listening on discord and have been very active in trying to get this all patched up.

Great story line, good graphics, awesome building and survival mechanics, and great sailing. However later islands are almost unplayable, because of consent crashing to "desktop". Needs an update to fix this problem, STAT!!! I want to play and I can't go more than 15ish minutes in the Puma islands region without said crash. Hope Island: several hours, Buffalo region: an hour or so. I'm scarred of trying Snake Region if this downward trend continues. On a new series X.

I love this genre and played them all. This is Green Hell meets Stranded Deep. But this is better than both. Dont listen to the baffoon with the 1 star. They prob couldnt survive in a fully stocked kitchen.
