The Alters: Deluxe Edition Upgrade

The DLC lived up to the hype for me! I highly recommend.

I'll be honest. I enjoyed my time with this dlc, but I feel it could have been even better than it was. The new alters were alright, but everytime I thought they were really going to be interesting, the questline was over and that was it. The new mechanics for mixing fluids was interesting, but again, I don't think we needed them for enough things or felt them impactful enough. I saw the ending coming veeeery early on. I think a third secret path would have been a great adddition. (unless there is one I dont know about.) Overall, a great experience just as the original game, but i felt it could have been even better.

My mind is blown and im astonished, loved it

This DLC is just as fun as original. Characters are a bit more 2 dimensional, some new mechanics could be explained better, central plot/mystery is very interesting. There is one bug I never experienced in main game where it will completely freeze and require to restart the game and loose all unsaved progress. Has happened like 4 times now loosing several hours of gameplay. If that was fixed it would be 5 stars for me.

Fun standalone game, except I found it annoying to have to install this DLC called "The Alters" to play this standalone game. Although it's nice of 11 bit studios to release a DLC with about as much content as this standalone game as soon as this standalone game with 20 hrs of content launched. I also found it strange that the original standalone game is called "The Alters: Last Variable" and the DLC is just called "The Alters."
