The Book of Unwritten Tales 2

It's charming and exciting, with wonderful graphics! It's very fun to play and enjoy!

Great game from start to finish. Characters and locales are full of charm. The music is FANTASTIC!! The only minus is the characters have clunky controls.

A point and click adventure! I so rarely find these any more, and they are usually terrible. I found the artwork lovely, voice acting engaging, the puzzles made sense (though a little easy), and the musical score might be the best part. A few bugs, but they didn't hinder playability at all. If curse of monkey island is a dinner at the best restaurant in town, then this is like going to outback. Not as good, but still a good time. Unless you are a vegan. Then it's totally not like that at all.

Loved the story, characters, jokes, graphics, and puzzles. Had to deduct a star because the game crashed a few times, there aren't any save slots for replay or in case of those game-ending glitches previously mentioned by others, and the travel to retrieve quest items was VERY repetitious. I regret that I didn't time how much gameplay was actually travel. The ending was kind of lackluster, but everyone should play the game if only for the dialogue. The lolz are well worth your time.

I got this game free w/ gold and haave all achievements. It took me about 3 months on-and-off to beat it the first time, and I did have to reference a walkthrough 3 times. I then replayed for achievements. My main problems with the game were the somewhat clunky movement and the loading screens. I didn't encounter most of the bugs others mentioned. It has a manual save so I didn't have save problems. The puzzles can be annoying or convoluted at times, but that's point & click adventure for you. No shame in checking a walkthrough. The story & characters are so-so. I didn't feel invested throughout. This is something these games NEED to excell with though, because let's be honest most gamers won't find this genre fun, so something has to keep them going. There were some achievements that didn't pop when they were supposed to, but I was able to pop them by going to"all achievements" on the Xbox menu and selecting this game. Is it worth $20? Eh, no. Maybe less than $10.
