The Church in the Darkness

Maybe. All I thought about while playing was that an actual family could've gone through a similar experience with Jim Jones and The People's Temple. The developer did a good job with the cult announcements.

I'm having too much fun killing and hiding bodies! The stealth mechanics are great! It's fun to try out different tactics. You can try to go in guns blazing or decide to distract guards and cult members with rocks and radios. Then choose to either sneak past, silently kill or knock them out! Hide their bodies or leave a path of destruction for all to fear. Punishments for your crimes are harsh! Game has great reply value! It has permadeath, but on the easy difficulty, you can continue and recover your previous inventory items after failing the game. You're given freedom to go and do whatever you want. There is a save system. Unlimited saves and continues on the easiest difficulty setting. I advise this difficulty until the game is fixed. See below... Update: After playing for a while, I found a game-breaking bug. Alex, the person you are there to rescue, can trap you in places on the map and this can lead to unwanted results! Worst case, death after hours of gameplay! Frustrating!

I have a lot of games, yet, this is my first time rating a game, this game is fun and i love it,stress reliever, highly recommended

Pretty cool little time waster game. Harder than I thought it would be.

Let's be honest the Church in the Darkness is a parody of the real world Fall of Jim Jones (While i think this is very ambitious it's hugging that line being in bad taste) If anything people that get into this should research and go down the rabbit-hole of Jonestown (its a cautionary tale and a true study of a megalomanic) There are important moments in time everyone should know about! As a "dark" story driven stealth title Church in the Darkness is very different due to the subject matter! Is it for everyone though???
