The Suicide of Rachel Foster

I just played for achievements but I ended up liking this. "Walk and Listen" type of games are normally not my thing but this was done pretty well. Focuses on how people deal with events instead of just the events themselves. (odd phrasing to avoid spoilers) It's basically a story about being haunted by memories, repression and the lingering effects of the death of loved ones. Except for two times that a noise leads you to an item, it has nothing to do with literal ghosts. All the paranormal stuff could be completely removed without effecting the story.

Weird story that keeps you hooked all the way to the end, but the ending is just not great...

A good story driven game that does a good job of keeping you hooked. A lot of deep and disturbing content. The ending was very anticlimactic though.. Disappointing but the game is worth the money!

The game shows the mental effects the actions of others can have on avictim reminds me of a trauma release story i wrote when i was a kid trying to both understand why it happened and cope with feeling responsible for what happened and suicidal Everyone saying it promotes abuse because the bad guys blame the victims. Are themselves promoting irl abuse its a fact we sometimes feel responsible for what we went through useing fiction to deal with that reality isn't promoting abuse

Easy achievements. When you have access to hotel do a walkthrough so you know floor and room layout. Pay attention to whats happening and you'll know where to go next. definitely worth $3.00......
