Fantastic game with few QOL issues

The game is great, i am a decent way into my first campaign and loving it. I would recommend playing as it is worth your time and money. I'd love to give it 5 stars. However, it does have 2 issues that have frustrated me at times. First, there seems to be no buffer between selecting an action and selecting a target for the action. So sometimes, the same A press will both input the action and automatically fire it at the first selected target, possibly not the one you wanted. The second issue is that the game will sometimes start you hovering over friendly units with your own attacks, even when enemy units are possible to hit. This combines with the first issue, meaning a single A press will auto attack a friendly unit.

    Say whaaaa...

So i seen this was releasing at some point didnt even see a date...feels kinda buried...the first game is amazing and this ones even better...these are so customizable in difficulty its very accessible....as is the first game...one glaring thing is the visuals arent impressive...the cutscenes are like a stop motion hand drawn stuff...but along the line of accessibility they kept it 40 bucks 36 the launch week...its a complete fully featured game with well implemented systems the visuals are so irrelevant its not bad just lacks any bells and whistles annd audio is weird its good quality but poorly balanced audio....the systems and gameplay loop is so strong 10 outta 5👌surprisingly tough cause core system changes...again options are youre friends here lol...and again i know challeng is a staple of the genre.. I would never suggest they take that away...to have have the balls to let me find whats agood balance for me.... No etlite gate keeping here❤️❤️❤️

    Fun, but needs bug fixes

The game is fun, but there are a lot of minor annoying bugs that add up. The main two that I noticed is that sometimes the skirmishes have no music, and occasionally attacks will target the first valid target and go off without the ability to change targets, which has mostly been my own troops. The game is also very different to the first one, which is unfortunate, but it is very enjoyable if you don't have the notion that it is the first game.
