Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles

Yonder is a simple fun open world adventure game, with exploring, collecting materials, and items, to use in it's crafting system. The game has some elements of Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Zelda great to see it on XB1. The weather system, and the day and night cycle are really good, and adds to the rich environments of the island. The crafting and collecting gameplay is well designed, the color palette is beautiful, and really creates environments you want to explore. Each new environment, and village is unique with interesting npcs to interact with, the story is simple, but the gameplay is addicting as you free the island of the darkness of the Murk. Yonder is like a beautifully crafted fairytale story that takes you on a fun journey of discovery, as you restore the island of Gemea.

I never leave reviews...but this game deserves it. 100%, delightful! I'm 34 and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring this world, crafting, and solving puzzles WITHOUT conflict or combat. The design is soothing and serene. The music and sounds are relaxing and high quality. Iwould def recommend for kids bc there are no bad guys. The game is funny, looks gorgeous, and lets you be a kid again. Cant wait for the sequel!!

Very laid back non stress inducing game, wonderful detailed world and animal, all about exploration at your own pace, definitely recommend

Very fun for a 30$ game, but don't expect it to take more than a weekend to finish it. Lovely visuals, cute characters, easy to relax with. Only issues are jumping mechanics feel like you're glitching to climb, your own lantern blinds you while fishing at night, the Brown Thumb achievement is glitched as i have picked up over 500 poops and achievement hasn't been awarded and it's extremely short. Would love dlc. Overall, I recommend it to anyone needing a relaxing little game.

It's a good game bought it on sale plenty of collectibles and mini quests, however it can get dull after a while, I reccomend getting it on sale and playing it in short bursts. A great adventure game with decent story and environments reminiscent of harvest moon, not for everyone, but was fun for me.
