7th Sector

Stimulating puzzles and unique atmosphere. I can't think of another title that allows the player to act as electrical current in a Russian dystopia. This is a true adventure that I recommend to gamers of all stripes.

The atmospherics in 7th sector were definitely my favorite part of the game, with the environmental storytelling doing an excellent job fleshing out the game's dystopian world. The game utilizes a nice variety of methods to traverse the world as well as a handful of different puzzle types, with a few of the puzzles being a little challenging to figure out. A couple sections appeared to have some RNG elements that were a little annoying. Great game for fans of Inside. Easy achievements.

This game reminds me of the game turn on but inside a Weird Blade Runner world and you can hack electronics and robots to solve puzzles as a spark of electricity and travel down wires. Very interesting and strange game. If you're looking for achievements this one is going to take at least two play throughs about 2 hrs each play through.

Kind of evokes half-life, without the crowbar. If you are the kind of person that has piles of supermarket sudoku mags lying around, then this is the game for you. There are some really wow moments, as at 57:38 at the end of the graveyard where the girl kisses the little machine to send it to next level. Some of the challenges are just tedious button mashing or pursuit games, but many others really work the brain. I particularly liked the "Hack It" game at level 42 where you navigate various pages and menus on an ASCII terminal to hack a firewall. Somewhere along about 30 minutes into the game I found a parking meter affair, comletely incidental to level progress, that required setup of a 3x3 matrix and solution of Ax=b by gaussian elimination. Wow. This atmospheric platformer is well worth the occasional tedious grind to enjoy those artful moments and totalitarian vibe.

This is a very tricky and enjoyable game to play. If you like puzzle/action games I highley recomend this. the graphics and the mechanics are outstanding. Definitely worth the 12 dollars on sale. Has to be one of my new favs ❤️
