Battle Chasers: Nightwar

Finally, a great jRPG. Love the art style and turn based combat system. A great story brings this amazing game together. If you love the traditional style jRPG format, you owe it to yourself to get this game. My only con is that the over world navigation is pretty much on rails. You can't go off the pre-set path to explore on your own. Although there are sometimes multiple paths to venture down. Within the actual dungeons though you are free to move around as you like. If you are a fan of old school jRPGs, then you want this game. Let's give support so more games like this get a Western release.

I very rarely buy a game the day it comes out, but I researched this game and took a shot. I'm incredibly pleased with this purchase. It has been. over a decade since a really good turn based RPG hit the Xbox (Lost Odyssey). If I had a slight knock on it the load times when you first log on can be a bit long, but thats only for the first battle. Easy turn-based gameplay and a solid story make this well worth your $29.99...buy it and you won't regret it.

Fantastic art direction. Engaging story with interesting characters. It's everything that there was to love about old-school jrpgs with a breath of fresh air infused into the combat system.

I say "new" but it's definitely not new to me. I put in about 400 hours playing it over and over. I love this game. Literally everything about it; the gameplay, style, story, characters, art and don't even get me started on the music. Amazing, gives me chills. Please please please, make a real sequal. I'm begging you. Take my money! I'm gonna play through it while I wait.

If your into the dragon quest and final fantasy 7 genre than just buy this. Game is amazing. I have it on pause just to write this review to the person who is thinking if this is worth it........ It is.
