Good for what is and the price. Wish it had more to it. After a day or two, you probably won't play it again.

It's a very fun and tense strategy game but it's limited by the relatively small theatre of war and the set amount of days. It'd be very interesting to see something like this with a different front and online multiplayer.

If you like using that computer between the ears, you'll enjoy this game.

great basic war strategy game. i hoping this is just a trial run for more of these type games (panzer genera)l and advanced maybe able merge like units together to restore combat power.

A solid game overall. Obviously, this was not made for nose-picking kids, but if you're into the turn-based strategy genre, you might find it worth the buy. The scenario selection is pretty limited (there's only so many ways you can slice up a single battle from history), but that's the only real problem I have with this game. The tutorials are decent. The mechanics of how turns progress are a bit different than I'm used to, but make for more of a challenge. The AI is decent, too, although the hardest level Allied AI (Patton) tends to take too many risks and seemed easy to beat, compared to the two other levels of AI. Maybe I just got lucky. Compared to other non-console games from this genre, I'd give this game just 4 stars. However, since I love this genre, I'm padding my rating with an extra star, just because I want see more games like this on XB1.
