Amazing!
Don't waste your time reading the 1 star reviews. Most of them were expecting a looter shooter. This is a very well crafted game made for those who love RPGs. If you play DnD on tabletop, you'll love this game. Blows my mind how many choices you have in this game. All of which impact your game and future choices. Amazing game Better with friends

Absolutely Blown Away
Everything you want in an RPG. Ive spent the last week trying new builds. Feels like this game is endless. My very 1st 5* review, and its well deserved!

Glad I supported this
This game is currently in preview, it will be fully released in August. I was expecting half hearted trash going in but this is probably my favorite RPG now. While this is great I was a little put off by the full $60 price tag for a test, but as long as I actually own the full release of a competent product I won't regret it. The game it self is styled after pen and paper RPGs and really pulls from D&D. The camera is overhead, not too bad most of the time but it gets stuck in walls and behind scenery during dialogue or combat. Combat is turn based and obviously not for everyone, but this will feel natural for fans of the genre. The review only takes place on the first island, about 5-10 hours if you explore everything. I can't recommend this enough to anyone who likes Baldur's Gate, Diablo or the older Fallout games.

Role playing game done right
On its own its a great game, with friends its amazing. I enjoy sitting down at a table rolling dice with my friends in RPGs and I haven't had a game replicate that same enjoyment like that in a very long time. This game brings that and more. The combat is simple yet rewards cleverness, the overall humor is great, but most of all you can turn enemies into chickens! FRICKEN CHICKENS!! Oh no, our low health lizard friend is about to be devoured by a giant angry croc whatever could we do?! Uh, obviously turn the angry croc into a harmless chicken then smash it with my hammer. There isn't a problem you can't solve by turning things into chickens. Name one, oh wait you can't you're a chicken. Boom mind explosion.

Upgrade Problems
Upgrade is very laggy, even with a Series X and no prior saved games. Routinely drops below what feels like 15fps. No option for a lower resolution mode that I can find, other than deupgrading it I suppose. Great game otherwise.
