Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen

Completely changed the vibe of the game for the better and made it feel like even more of a sequel. The DD2 soundtrack is just too generic imo.

DD2 ost just sounds generic for the most part. This doesn't replace it completely, just mixed in with ( so you'll hear dd1 ost mixed with dd2 ost).

You don't have pay to fast travel. You're not supposed to magic around the map. You're meant to treat every journey outside the walls as a unique event, kinda death stranding style. It's why the map is so obsessively detailed, and so rich with things to discover and do and stock up on. It's why there are multiple routes to most every location. The adventuring is the point of the thing. It's not an assassin's creed style murder carnival where you sprint from quest indicator to quest indicator, killing everything and collecting dopemine for your troubles. Enjoy the ride, and not just the destination, and these games will will show you why they're so beloved and so very worth your time. TL;DR: Save the fast travel items you occasionally get in-game for emergencies, when you think you can't make it home alive.

I prefer the dlc as it adds a more mystery fantasy storytelling vibes. As far as i know it changes the title screen music, combat music are the main ones that alone make it worth it

Idk where it is
