Heavy KOTOR I&II vibes! I bought this in 2023 and beat the game. That means something because as a 38 year old who works full time, most new games can't keep my intrest for more than 2 weeks. This is how you do an RPG. You earn your level ups. You're free to explore this open world at your own risk. This game is brutal at first, challenging at halfway, and you're a GOD by the end. Story, dope. Factions to choose from, dope. Armor you can wear (when you earn it), dope AF. Loot every where you go. Weapons are earned. Pearks are earned. Triumph over the enviorment, hecking earned. If this goes on sale, do yourself a solid and add it to your library. Some things are worth more than money, this is one of those things. Just fyi, i'm playing Elex 2 right now. It improves on almost everything from Elex 1. Highly recommended my dudes. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

It's like Dragon Age meets Fallout meets Kindoms of Amular with a lil bit of Mass Effect sprinkled in. A true open world where your choices really do alter the game. And you have three 3rd person views to choose from. I like this more than Fallout. If you play on Series X, like me, play in performance mode. No game freezes in that mode.

the game is fun for what it is, as person who plays alot of bethesda games, i went into it expecting it to be. don't do that to yourself, the game is buggy sometimes but it is solid and yes it is hard, change the difficulty. player damage easy, enemy damage easy, everything else, max. recommend taking away the stamina aspect, or atleast change to low stamina cost. learn the game, loot everything, money isnt too important at start, focus on quests, don't join a faction right off the bat, just chill and learn the game. a lot of depth, it is way deeper than you think. you can also, if you play long enough, discover that you can make / find multiple potions that grant xp and some that grant attribute points. which is amazing. looting in this game is very rewarding so is progression. once you start investing, gonna take a while, find traveling merchants they usually sell stuff you can use. always check your potions and food, for XP and attributes.

So this is the first review I've ever left for a game which says alot asim 42 years old and have been playing video games since the early 80s when it was just ataris and the origional nes ive owned every video game system to come out and have literraly played most games for these consoles and thisgame is in my top 5 games ever played i was hesitant about this game since it came out and waited afew years to get it until it went on sale which i regret because this game is amazing as far as rpg games go truly a hidden gem of a game dont listen to the reviews saying this game is to difficult or the controls and mechanics of the game being to clunky its just not true take it from me (a guy you dont know but should ultimately trust🤣🤣) give this game a chance you wont regret it and its on sale right now

bc of the bad reviews I almost didnt buy. I am so glad I did ,, People get real picky and are sticklers about games these days I felt it was my duty as a gamer to help clear the confusion. This game is FUN. Slow in beginning but hoursss of content stunning environments if ur a true fan of RPG like me this will fill our RPG need especially since waiting for AAA games is getting exhausting,, Every game has their flaws but ELEX didnt get a fair chance damn reviews are getting ridiculous nyway the game is good its like PB said 'lets include everything we RPG fans love and throw it in' ..if u want a challege , if u like long campaigns etc ull be satisfied. I know it has issues but not enough where theres no fun to be had,,,,,,, btw this is my first PB game and im liking it a lot .come on people lets remember what gamers want simply to have fun... sry didnt want to edit,,,just wanted to share,,update game is good 3 1/2 4stars right where it should be.
