Gord

Update 1-10-24: Developers stated on Twitter (X), that they are only going to focus on PC version and won't be doing anything for console version. Steer clear of these clowns! The developers have updated the PC version several times. Yet they have finally admitted that they have no idea when it comes to doing any more updates for console versions. Steer clear

Found out they have no intention of porting future updates or dlc to console versions, absolutely pathetic. They made sure we enjoyed it long enough to be barred from a refund, then they ran. Even the game Graveyard Keeper made sure we got conetent even if it was a year late.

I really wanted to like Gord. The dark folklore setting is great but that'snwhere the praise ends. The micromanagement is tedious, the pacing drags, and difficulty spikes feel unfair rather than challenging. Instead of rewarding good strategy, the game constantly punishes you, which kills the fun fast. To make matters worse, developer support appears to have ended, with no updates or fixes since late 2023. If you’re thinking about picking this up, I’d recommend passing-there are better options.

Controls being a bit difficult is one thing. The game running this poorly on the series x is crazy.

I wanted to love this game so bad. The style is cool. It has so many interactibles and unique things about it, but the ui is off the charts bad\cluncky. Played more than enough to give it a chance. Your citizens lack any and all automation which would be fine if the ui was good but its terrible. Ive played so many rts games and would have loved to love this game. Review would be way more in depth but typing on a controller sucks
