HUMANKIND

Having a playthrough that's currently at turn 250+ I can say I like the game, but it really falls flat in certain areas. Combat: It works, but very obviously not as intended. I doesn't matter what you're up against because the solution will be to use manual combat and put ranged units behind defending meat-shields/terrain. Got attacked out in the open? Do this. Attacking a city? Do this. Defending your own? Just guess. You WILL be punished for doing otherwise. Diplomacy: The highlight here is the grievance/demand system and yet you have no real control over it. Rather than giving the player a way to negotiate for specific things the demand for each grievance is fixed and can't be modified. Also the ai treats treaties like dirt. The game is still playble, but there are definitely better alternatives. If you plan to try this one my only advice is not to play on default settings. Go for 150 turns, normal size, 4-5 ai, and replace the "Beowulf" ai if you won't focus on millitary.

Fun game but crashs late game and ruins save

Its a good game and has the potential to be great but the UI is terrible. I watched a couple of tip videos and they were playing on PC, and you can hover over every icon, move citizens, adjust industry, can see what each technology does ect. On pc it looks amazing but its half baked on console unfortunately. Update the UI and im all in.

I have had TWO play thru's stop working, 150+ turns in, because of "missing content". How was I able to put hours into these playthru's, without the dlc content, in the first place? Only to then be put behind a DLC paywall to continue? Really upsetting.

Great game... When can I play my pre ordered game? Cannot even d/l yet. Past release date.
