Jotun: Valhalla Edition

cool game. definitely doesnt hold your hand, so be prepared to figure what to do and where to go. once you get a handle on the overall game design and flow, its a pure joy. i also love the graphics and sound. visuals are like a storybook =)

This game is one to approach with a little curiousity & a few loose dollars. Im finding the art loveable, the controls simple & a sudden growing interest in the presented Norse Mythology. Most outstanding is the Art Style that leaves you feeling tiny compared to the World & Jotun/Giants around you. Appearing to look rather short length wise, I am finding the game with its challenges. The Massive Boss's send you packing with just a few blows & the maps themselves need to be explored throughly for their secrets. Sadly though the game's 'arcadey' simplicity does leave a little to desire; mostly in areas of depth & immersion. Overall, I can't really give Jotun a 5 because of this. That said though, it lands at a very solid 4 for what it is; A quaint little action adventure with a rich art style, great soundscape, simple story & fair price for a few hours of challenge.

The games is a mix betwen Bastion and Zelda - the rpg elements. Hands down best indi iv played in a while! GOOD JOB GUYS👏🙂

Hand drawn animation, Lessons in Norse mythology, Scenic exploration, and Challenging boss battles; one of the best games I've played in a long time.

Beautiful scenery, challenging boss fight and an all around rage reward type game and i wouldn't have it any other way. A definite recommendation from me
