I laughed. I cried. I lost seventy-two hours and missed several vital meals, important appointments, required phone calls, a day of work, and a couple bowel movements. 5/5 Set alarms reminding you to be human.

This game is super fun! Another awesome game I'd have never played without gamepass. It's these little indies that make the service so special because it gives them a huge spotlight.

It's hard to classify this game. It's really a turn based rogue lite strategy deck builder. You make randomly generated runs. You gain temporary gear to equip during the run. You gather resources to take back to camp at the end of the run. You decide which buildings to unlock and where to place them. Some buildings provide new classes, crafting, buffs, and run cards. You build a deck from unlocked run cards. Where you place your cards requires strategy. Done correctly allows for longer runs and eventually making it to a boss. You can quit a run at any point, but you can only get 100% of the collected resources if you leave from the starting camp square. Push your luck? If you die you may get 30% tops. Tip - you can only hold a max number of land cards and gear cards. If you pickup more you drop the oldest cards to make room. Dropped gear turns into scrap metal resource. It's a fun game.

This is a very fun indie title in the same way that Vampire Survivors is. I'm not surprised to see the low reviews because in this day and age it is hard for people to actually appreciate various styles of gameplay without incredible graphics. It's very simple and yes, also very repetitive, but regardless, it is still a solid game for what it is. Seeing people complain about the different games (for different people) always makes me laugh because no one is forcing you to play it. Personally I kept saying to myself "Just one more lööp..."

I love roguelikes, puzzlers, and retro styles, so this was a no-brainer for me. Starts off simple but gets more and more complicated as you go. The battles and movement are also automatic which make it great for those with low dexterity or mobility.
