The Artful Escape

Less a game, more of an interactive side-scrolling narrative, but a heart-felt and compelling one for 4-6 hours of your time. Art direction, voice acting, soundtrack, overall presentation is quality. Recommended to anyone who loves music (or art in any form) up for a solid coming-of-age story saturated with kaleidoscopic visuals.

An absolute blast from start to finish. Wish I had played it sooner. Wonderful graphics and beautiful soundtrack. A must play for all. Hope there is a sequel🤞. Huge thanks to Beethoven & Dinosaur for making such a masterpiece. 🙏

I want a sequel. This game captured it all, I just beat the game and I feel sad. The whole playthrough I was like, "I don't want this game to end". It captured everything I love about the 80s! Also Carl Weathers aka (Apollo Creed) voices Lightman. Please make another game like this.

i really like how mellow the gameplay is then the music and color get better. its a great story about a boy finding himself from others. def reccomend to anyone.

This game has some of the best art and style I have ever seen in a videogame or any other medium. The way the world reacts to your music and comes alive is such a wonderfully colorful experience. And finally the vocal cast really brings to life the impassioned tale of growing up under the shadow of familial greatness and being expected to follow someone else's dreams and legacy without the feeling of being allowed to follow your own.
