Trident's Tale

The actual game is quite solid but all these 1 star based on trial length is dumb...listen to those who actually played the game..and i agree 15 min trial is dumb and was only ever going to trigger folks...but these reviews are meant to you know review the game....not a review for trial length

Quit whining about 15 min demo. 99% of games dont even have demos but u buy the games anyway so why the comlaining now. Really sad

Everything works the way you need it to. Combat is good, doesn't feel cheap or sloppy. Light & heavy attack, dodge, and a gun that charges shots off damage that stuns and interrupts. Sailing and ship combat works like a simplified Assassin's creed ship. It all feels solid. The writing has sat morning cartoon vibes. She's snarky but kind, like a girl pirate in every cartoon for the last fifty years. (dude talking about dei is prolly one those boomers who thinks girls shouldn't leave the kitchen lol) From what i saw, the game only one real drawback. The camera is slow. At 10 it takes 1.5 or 2 seconds to make a full revolution. normal average is about half that. Prolly good for young gamers who are less coordinated, but it would be nice to have a faster option. Didnt get to character progression in 15 min, but looks fun to explore the open ocean. All in all, solid but doesn't seem to be trying anything too new. But that's okay sometimes. But devs...15 min demo is gonna tank your score

Game is fun! Reminds me alot of Sea of Thieves. Not too hard and not so battle intensive. Great relaxing binger.

I liked the art style, ship combat was solid. But the ground combat could be improved. The story was ok, the best part of the game was sailing in the ocean uncovering islnds. I would recommend it to anyone that likes pirate games. l
