Every review or video will say the same things and they are right. However, I wanted a game like Ultima Underworld and that is exactly what I got. I refuse to believe that the Devs were looking to cheat anyone like the idiots in the club whine about. If anything, the Devs were the ones cheated. You can clearly see the efforts to bring back the old school immersive sim feel, like with UU, Thief, and System Shock. Thats exactly what this game is, a forgotten sucessor to those classic titles marred by a low budget and time constraints. Flawed game. Fun game. Wait for sale like I did in all honesty. But, don't get on here and complain unless you have put in at least a little time and at least attempted to understand what the what the people were trying to acheive. In my overblown opinion, they acheived it. I hope the Devs read this if anyone. Somebody put their heart in this game, if not everyone, and it shows.

Old School RPG
First off, the game HAS been updated to 1.001, so don't go by old reviews. This is not a AAA game, so yes it has its rough edges (such as inventory management) but the developers have crafted a homage to old school games like Ultima Underworld and as such, there's not a lot of hand holding. If you temper your expectations, there's a lot to like here. It's frequently on sale for under $8, and runs well on my One X and Series X.

Seems good so far
Played for a few hours and so far there have been no real issues. Start menu posts verson at 0.3.29276 which, looking at their web site, suggests something post patch 3 but pre patch 4. Easily feels worthy of it's constant sale price of less than $8. If I had known, I would have bought it sooner. I will update if my opinion changes. "Edit" I deleted a couple of older saves and the game did not like that. Luckily a restart got me back on track. No progress lost.

Much better than I expected
I had this on my list for awhile and finally took a chance. I had low expectations based on reviews but so far, after about 2 days in, I am really loving it. It reminds me of a MIght & Magic game I had on PC in 2007. The graphics are dated and so is the gameplay but that's what I like about it. It's nostalgic but also modern in how it makes you think to solve things. It just keeps getting better for me, and although it can be glitchy, I'm thoroughly enjoying it

DO NOT BUY!!
Buggy to say the least. Unplayable at worst. Example: First quest after getting to Marcul(?),The Scoundrel, will not complete. The only fix? Restart the game from the beggining.
Not even worth the 8 bucks I paid for it on sale. Stay away!
