Wasteland Remastered

As someone who never played the original i enjoyed it despite a few flaws. For one the graphics are good and the OST is amazing and is probably one of the most underrated soundtracks in gaming. I will admit it's not flawless but people are being too harsh on it. As a faithful remaster 10/10, as a game on its own I'd say 8/10, I think they could've sacrificed a bit of faithfulness to make the game more pointed as I was completely lost on a few occasions. Also the story is pretty good.

Its tough and doesnt give much info, save a lot, maybe read a text guide for direction. Exploring isnt very rewarding but the story and people you encounter make me want more. -people hatin on a 40 yr old game that brought new ideas to gaming

It is very much a remaster of the original, running well and providing a updated look. Its not a bad game, its actually a great game thats just aged, and that will ruin the appeal for some. If you understand the combat system the game offers a good but not punishing challenge.

Played a lot of this as a kid, and this is an excellent adaptation. The classic "numbers and arrows" keyboard is still faster than mouse (IMO), but the truly surprising part is just how well the console controller works. As fast as keyboard for 90% of functions. Play Anywhere works; I was able to pick up my saved games back & forth between PC and Xbox without effort. ***BUT*** I verified that the first 6 achievements possible in the game (which take about an hour to complete) DO NOT unlock on PC whatsoever. Loading that save on Xbox didn't trigger them either. So I'm playing only on Xbox now (couch beats desk anyhow). Enjoy a classic!

Pain in the butt, rarely explains things, Vegas difficuly spike was hell but I beat the game and I enjoyed it, fun seeing what inspired the Fallout series.
