Windswept

I just got through the 3rd level collecting everything and am officially in LOVE with this game. I had to pause to give this masterpiece its due praise. To everyone who loves tight, old school platformers, this is all you! It's SOOOOOO good!!!!

A phenomenal 2d platformer that's very similar to the Donkey Kong Country games. The level design is on point, and there are so many secrets to find. The music is great too. The two different characters are fun to play as and have unique movesets. You can swap between characters on the fly while grounded and in specific animations. The character that you're playing also as has unique team-up abilities with the other character, but you don't have to use them that much to beat the game. Generally, Marbles is more beginner friendly, but Checkers has more powerful mobility options. The story is okay... nothing too special, but it's cute and gets the job done. Windswept doesn't pull many punches and is generally pretty difficult, so there's your warning. There are accessibility options, though, so less skilled players can still play this game. As of right now, though, the camera can pretty janky at times, and game crashes every once and a while, so maybe wait for a patch.

An update has fixed the game crashing on startup. Has been fun so far.

4/5 as long as your not doing the post game levels those are hard asf bro
