HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANY TBS FAN
A Great TBS game! From creating a warband and exploring the map on horseback, to dungeon crawling and fun turn based battles. The game nails it. Just the right amount of everything and not over complicating anything. Gear, loot, spells, skills, class building, resources, etc. Its all balanced very well. Lots of quality of life choices too, like fast traveling anytime back to your base for tweaking, training, etc. Is just one example. Creating a warband from around a 50 character pool is also very nice. There is a very adult oriented campaign too, with partner/love interest choices for example. But ultimately, in a TBS game it alyways boils down to battles . And the battles are great. I admittedly slept on this game, and getting it on a sale. But I can confidently recommend the game at any price.

Great
Not usually into the games that move like this with the hexagons but this pleasantly surprised me. Great game and story and easy to pick up and play 👏👌

Steal it on sale
Waited on this until it was on sale, but i like the fresh take on the tactical battle system. I enjoy other games like both Pathfinder titles, wasteland 3, and the persona games . This game is a steal at $35.

It's good, but drags
The game is fun to play! However, the combat felt like it would drag on for far too long as the game progresses. If there was a fast forward button, it would make late game combat more bearable. Aside from the combat annoyance, the story was filled with a solid plot and lots of lore.
