GreedFall: The Dying World

The game is still busted and all future content and patches have been canceled.

Let me start with saying this game has potential, I've played about 7 hours of it and ive enjoyed it. That being said, I wish I could refund it. I lost $74 to a game that freezes so much, randomly deletes my saves, audio cuts out on and off, sometimes I cant even attack in combat. This game should've been in the oven for at least another six months. Pleas save your money and wait for a sale. Don't make my mistake.

I love the 1st Greedfall, so when 2 was announced, I cheered! But the combat system, the slow crawl walking... it's ruined any chance of story enjoyment. I deleted the game after 4 hours play. Never thought I'd wish for a game to revert to an older platform, but I do. If a system needs pages to explain how combat works (or doesn't), than it won't be enjoyable. I really wanted this to better.

Combat... Full tactical yet party just doing their own thing (yes, the lb+y is OFF) so you're constantly fighting that. Break armor only to have it magically back to full. Random enemies glitch when almost dead and beome invincible, then game crashes. There is nothing spectacular with combat effects so no reason to crash. Acievements don't pop. I highly doubt these will be fixed because of insolvency filing. If you liked the first, just stop there.

The game is fun from a casuaals perspective...but i get the hate i dont think they are wrong and im correct...its a big change and GF1 was just such a hidden gem gem...am i having my fun here? Sure but could i live without it? Absolutely...and u cant say they will make it better...we know whats going on with nacon...there will be zero dollars for spiders to improve the game with...so its a sad end for a good franchise..and i know that since i dare to find fun in the game ill get thumbs down even though i say its objectivly flawed...ok so that part about no support they have actually done a great job post launch...3rd update just hit maybe 2nd but pretty sure third...spiders a great studio...i hope they arent funding these patches cause publisher shutting down...but however they are coming...awesome work much respect
