Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch

I picked up the demo when I saw this release, and lost several hours in the best way. I don't want to over sell it, but this game checks all the boxes for me: tactical combat with strategic environmental factors, good writing and VO, meaningful choices with risk and reward (banes & boons), and a progression system that, so far, is NOT a ridiculous slow drip. If you're on the fence, try the demo.

I was skeptical about the combination of these two seemingly incompatible genres, but the result is actually great fun! The overrall runs will last 1-3 hours depending on your progress, but the individual battles are short and engaging, lasting only 5-15 minutes. The battles have a variety of fun objectives and are further supported by non-combat events that have you training your units, buying items, or making skill checks. The meta-progression is great, enabling further progress each run with lots of perks to choose from. The characters are good and have all the build archetypes you would expect from a game in this genre. I'd recommend this game to anyone, especially fans of other SRPGs like Fire Emblem. Also, I had no experience with crashing at all on the Series X.

I love the game, when it works.. Please patch this issue devs. Im asking please wit sugar on top. I love lost ediolons!

The worst part of the game is the in game combat/travel zone visuals. (looks like ps2 quality) BUT!!!! Story is a solid 3.5 out of 5 has me interested enough. Combat and mechanics are a 4 ive never had the same build. Art style/voice acting 4.5 a bit over acted at times but good. If you like thi genre its 100% worth it!

Any ideas on what causing this? Any patch release coming out from devs?
