Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

I was on the fence about my final rating, because of lack of a better map and quest progression, but this is such an addicting little game with beautiful graphics + music! 5 stars from me! ✨

Fun combat with great monster design. A good amount of weapons and elemental upgrades. The quest are a little flat but are made better by the lore. First play through was about 10 hours - that includes all quests and reading everything. Ng+ had nothing changed that i could see and took maybe 2 hours. I just gifted this game to 5 friends, a definite must play for souls-like enjoyers

The game was good, especially for 3 bucks, but the game tends to crash and on the last boss the game got bugged and when I killed him, it didn't count it and didn't give me the ending or registered that I had finished the game.

Once upon a time a wandering soul met a princess named Zelda. After a long courtship they got married and had a wonderfully morbid baby delivered by seven acolytes. It was a beautiful mash up of isometric exploration and skillful combat with enough difficulty to keep the neighborhood kids interested in playing with him without being so hard it drove them from being his friends. All the kingdoms rejoyced as he and a small indie studio had brought peace to the lands. The end. Worth the money especially if you can find it on sale (just a no brainer then). Only bug I got was if you are in the shrine menu and use your home button (I was looking at achievements) it will cause a fatal error and must restart. Though since you're at a shrine there's no progress lost. FYI, you DO level up despite what one "special" reviewer says. It's just done by leveling up your blessings you equip that you acquire as you play and you can't do that till after you beat your first acolyte. Music is wonderful.
