Civ 6 works now
I am so happy to report that the game works. I played a game and got past turn 100 without any crashing. I played till turn 187 to make sure that there were no issues and to my surprise there were no issues. If you stop playing civ like me i would come back because as far as i know the game works fine. Im so glad the finally listened to the console community and went ahead and fix the game and bring the leader pass. It would been so easy to just move on but they went and made things right. Thanks civ team.

Abandonment
(This is just a warning for people thinking about getting this game) The devs of this game have completely abandoned it (dont know why its still even on here). As you can see by the other reviews there are many many issues dating back to when the game first came out on xbox. The issues are still there and they will never be fixed. im not sure why they chose to abandoned this game but if you'd like something similar and is still going strong then check out these. Crusader Kings 3, Stellaris, Mount and Blade 2, and Frostpunk. All of those are amazing strategy games that are worth a look. So as you can see i do not recommend this game but its up to you whether to buy it or not, if you do and you are upset with all the issues then dont even attempt to contact the devs they will not respond, and remember i warned you.

I hope you like your homescreen
Been playing this game on xbox for a few years, and ever since me and my friends got the frontier pass the game has constantly crashed. It'll usually start having trouble about an hour and a half in whether you have the dlc enabled or not. Not sure if it was a porting issue or what, but the team haven't patched anything since the last update a year ago and won't respond to any complaints or reports about the crashing problem. Xbox desperately needs more grand strategy games, and this unfortunately doesn't make the grade.

Game is broken for almost a year now
An update was released almost a year ago that makes the game crash past 50 turns, and devs still haven't released a fix. They don't care if the game functions anymore. Do not buy.
